Updated: Sep 22

Deans Court a beautiful venue set in Wimborne , Dorset an elegant historic venue set in the most beautiful of grounds a perfect wedding venue .

Deans Court has been in the Hanham family for nearly 500 years & is always a joy to work there alongside the amazing wedding team & local wedding suppliers. A gorgeous marquee is set alongside the lake , a gentle natural setting in the beautiful English countryside.

Designing wedding flowers for Frances & Scott in June & on one of the hottest days of the year too !

Frances & Scott were so lovely to work with , a gentle colour palette of soft pinks with touches of whites a gentle , natural style using locally grown British blooms.

The bride held a handtied bouquet with blousey , garden style soft pink roses, sweet peas & seasonal blooms & foliage finished with trailing pink ribbons .

The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the brides bouquet & the sweetest flower girl carried a small bouquet & wore most beautifully a flower crown.

Scott & his groomsmen wore a pink rose buttonhole finished with silk ribbon.

A Summer wedding ceremony at Deans Court, Wimborne, Dorset.

The ceremony held outside in the beautiful grounds , large urn & pillar arrangements filled with beech & ferns , peonies ,roses, delphiniums, stocks & sweet rocket & lace flower filled the air with a gentle perfume. The aisle decorated with filled honey jars & trailing silk ribbons gently moving in the summer breeze & meadow arrangements finished the ceremony styling at the top of the aisle.

Whilst photographs & glasses of bubbles were happening we moved the ceremony flowers to the wedding breakfast & incorporated them into the florals we had already arranged & placed.

The showstopping large arrangements outside the marquee entrance , pew ends placed on the guest tables amongst bud vases & the meadow arrangements placed in front of the top table completed the set up.
