Kingston Maurward is a lovely wedding venue set in the beautiful Dorset countryside just outside Dorchester the 18th century house & gardens are perfect for a wedding within the house or set in the beautiful gardens.
The gorgeous Pengelly Room with it's richly decorated 19th century hand painted Italian wallpaper is a glorious sight & for me a source of inspiration for the floral designs i love to take into account the surroundings of the venue & how the finished floral designs will look in the wedding venue.

Bridal Bouquets for the Spring Brides
Isabella & Jess held handtied bouquets to compliment the beautifully romantic dress & classy jumpsuit .
The handtied bouquets created with my signature style of natural ,loose yet elegant , the soft toned pink & peach garden style roses, peach tulips & ranunculus ,narcissi ,muscari & anemones.
With the gentle scent of the flowers , textures & movement of the bouquets & finished with trailing silk ribbons.
Kingston Maurward, Wedding Ceremony in the Pengelly Room
The ceremony was planned to be held by the lakeside how ever the British weather had other plans !
The ceremony was then switched to the Pengelly Room & lovely celebrant Xiola from Pearly Promises took the wedding ceremony .
The ceremony space styled with candlelight & bud vases on the stunning marble fireplace , candles & lanterns in the fireplace with either side of the fireplace show stopping urn & pedestal arrangements with roses , delphiniums trailing jasmine , stocks filling the air with glorious scent.
Along the aisle we decorated with floor standing arrangements in elegant gold stands with roses , jasmine , stocks & delphiniums.
When walking down the aisle through the flowers then your eyes being drawn up wards to the show stopping flowers at the fireplace.
The designs from the ceremony were to be repurposed for the wedding breakfast so the flowers could be enjoyed throughout the whole day.
Kingston Maurward Wedding Reception Flowers
The wedding reception long table was dressed with bud vases of narcissi, anemones & forget me nots & candlelight .
The tall gold arrangements with their trails of jasmine & touches of blue from the delphiniums & romantic soft toned roses & scent from the stocks adding height to the wedding breakfast table .
Tall wedding reception flowers really work in the Pengelly Room with it's high ceilings & intricate plasterwork & with the low bud vases the mix of heights works really well with tall ceilings ,the florals for this wedding really gave Isabella & Jess their Bridgerton moment !
